Patrick Cantlay is The Memorial champion for the second time after a clutch par at the first play-off hole was enough to beat Collin Morikawa at Muirfield Village.

Jon Rahm’s controversial withdrawal continued to dominate headlines at Muirfield Village, having gained a 6-shot lead on Saturday night to be publicly told on the 18th green he had to withdraw due to a Covid-19 positive test.
Cantlay stated: “It’s always special coming off the 18th green and shaking his hand,” said Cantlay, who also won at Muirfield Village in 2019. “We have a great connection, and we are, I would say, good friends at this point, and so that makes it just a little more special.”
