Callaway Introduces Its Epic Series

Callaway has recently launched three new custom-fit products: Epic Forged Irons, Epic Flash Hybrids, and the Epic Star Family. All of these clubs belong to the “Epic” family but have different features.

Epic Forged Irons

Epic Forged Irons have a carbon steel body and can prevent unwanted vibrations thanks to their urethane microsphere coatings. This product range also allows Callaway to use its “Suspended Tungsten Core” for the first time in a forged iron. This custom-made tungsten core, coupled with microspheres, ensures the perfect positioning of the centre of gravity. Epic Forged Irons, which are produced with premium ad flexible components, can increase the ball speed by releasing the energy collected during the swing when you hit the ball.

Epic Flash Hybrids

The new Epic Flash Hybrid represents the very best of Callaway’s industry-leading technologies in this category, delivering performance and increased ball speeds in a premium materials package. Using “Jailbreak” technology, these clubs have two built-in bars in their body, providing more power during impact. The clubs feature a carbon fabric coating and a steel crown. Finally, a new, lighter triaxial carbon fabric employed in the Epic Flash Hybrid has a tighter weave, saving weight versus a steel crown that’s redistributed within the head for a controlled launch, and to increase forgiveness.

Epic Star

The new Epic Flash Star Driver, Fairway Wood, Hybrids and Epic Forged Star Irons are crafted with ultra-premium components, an ultra-lightweight package, and the company’s best distance-enhancing technologies, particularly for slower swing speed players who want to hit the ball farther.

Ultra-premium and ultra-weight components are used for this product group, which consists of the new Epic Flash Star Driver, Fairway Wood, and Hybrids. Players can achieve unrivalled impact power.

All of these new custom-fit product series are designed for slower swing speed players who want to send the ball longer distances.

Finding the ideal settings can be a challenge and if not done right, the club will actually perform much worse than if left alone at the factory neutral settings. (more…)

Graphite Iron Shafts???

Graphite Iron Shafts???

Many people assume that graphite iron shafts are only for older people that need something light weight. Recent technology has started to change that. Golf WRX just named the UST Recoil iron shaft the best product at this year’s PGA Show.

If this sounds appealing please stop in and try one for yourself.
