Let us help answer some of your product and service questions

Why shouldn’t I just order custom clubs from a manufacturer?
Ordering custom clubs from a manufacturer is an option, but unfortunately you would still be sacrificing a couple key benefits. The first is shaft options and selection. Most manufacturers only offer a few shaft options that may or may not be what you need. The second, and most important, is the details of the build process. When we build clubs we take on average 45 minutes per club, while a mass manufacturer focuses on volume. We spend the time to ensure that every club is at the exact frequency we are targeting and that every shaft is spined before it leaves our shop. No manufacturer is able to take these additional steps. If you’re investing in custom clubs, why sacrifice the quality and settle for a less than perfect build?
Why shouldn’t I just go to my pro to get fit?
While your pro may be able to do a great job with the tools he or she has, we have many more tools at our disposal because we specialize in fitting. Launch monitor to collect data, BGF fitting software with extensive database of shafts, over 100 shaft options that fit across all of our heads – you’re not limited to shafts on any brand’s cart. We get into more detail. There are more options than just graphite or steel and shaft stiffness. We go to the detail of finding out the perfect shaft weight, torque and launch angle from your shaft.
Can you fit putters?
Yes we can! Putters are possibly the most important club to have fit in your bag because it is the one club that makes up about 40% of the shots in any give round. If you’re looking for a new putter or simply to get better performance out of your existing one, we can help. We will help you identify which eye is your dominate eye to select the right offset. We’ll also examine the path or your stroke to select which head shape and toe weighting is right for you. We can also adjust the length, loft and lie of the putter to help ensure your equipment best matches your unique stroke. If you want the ultimate fitting experience, schedule a session on our SAM PuttLab.
My friend just got a new club and he kills it. I need it!
So someone in your group just got a new club and is now driving it past you??? The advancement of technology is a constant in the golf industry and many of today’s clubs can really help you add distance while being more forgiving and consistent. Before you make the leap to assume the club that works so well for your friend is the right one for you ask yourself the following questions; Am I the same height as he/she is? Do I have the same swing tempo, release point and speed? Do I have the same launch angle? If you answer no, to any of those, you will likely be better off spending some time with us to learn what the ultimate club is for you. Every club behaves differently so make sure you find the right one for you.
You only do custom clubs right?

While we specialize in custom club fitting and building, we actually have a wide range of off the rack clubs. We love to spend the time with you to help identify what’s the best equipment for you.
OK so you do have clubs, but I’m just going to go buy them ________ because they’re cheaper.

If you find a lower price on a comparable model, let us know. Our prices are very competitive and almost always at the lowest prices manufacturers allow retailers to advertise, including the internet. If you find a legitimate price that is lower than us, let us know and we’ll work with you.

Aren’t custom fit clubs expensive?

While customizing clubs isn’t free, it doesn’t have to be prohibitively expensive. We have a wide range of fully installed shaft options starting from $100 wood shafts to $50 iron shafts that can be fit to you and perform better than the standard shaft you have now.

One way we’re actually able to save you money is improving the performance of you existing club heads. If you have relatively new equipment, it’s we can reshaft it rather than force you to buy brand new clubs. If you have a driver that’s a year or two old we can very likely get better performance than a new club off the rack for the same or even less money!
